Tammy is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomy Technician currently serving patients in an Urgent Care setting. With clinical experience in Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Neurology, and Endocrinology, she is committed to delivering compassionate, efficient, and patient-centered care in fast-paced environments. Tammy's diverse background allows her to confidently assist with a wide range of medical needs while helping patients feel comfortable and supported during their visit.

 

In addition to her hands-on clinical experience, she brings over 15 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist. This foundation has strengthened her attention to detail, medical terminology expertise, and dedication to accurate documentation—skills that directly contribute to safe, high-quality patient care.

 

Outside of work, Tammy lives in the beautiful Nantahala National Forest with her long-time partner. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, exploring new restaurants as self-proclaimed “foodies,” and traveling to visit family and friends. She also cherishes spending time with her two grandchildren—a grandson and granddaughter—as well as caring for their little chihuahua family.
